A selection of multimedia films, and narrated slideshows, illustrating some of the personal and assignment work that I have undertaken.

'Paradise Lost - Illegal logging in the Paradise Rainforests'

Papua New Guinea's remote location suits illegal and unethical logging companies. It makes it very difficult to prove workers' claims of mistreatment and poor conditions. Conditions for PNG forest communities and logging workers have gone mostly undocumented - until now. In September 2008 as part of a Greenpeace team I went to the heart of the forest to expose the impacts of logging on its people, the environment and our global climate.

Produced by Elaine Hill/Greenpeace.

The Tide Is High: journey to the Carterets Atoll
Produced by Paul Kwiatkowski/ World Picture News

Shot on assignment in Papua New Guinea this multimedia film, combining video, still images and interviews, documents and illustrates the plight of the inhabitants of the Carteret's Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. The one metre high atoll, comprised of 5 islands, is at risk from rising sea levels, and the land erodes from beneath the feet of the 2,000 or so islanders. Crops are failing, malaria is rife and over-population is taking it's toll on the land and the food sources.
