Photographing Portraits
People often ask me “what do you like to photograph?”, and I respond “People.”
I greatly believe that everyone is interesting, whether I’m photographing with a CEO in the boardroom, a warehouse manager on the factory floor, or the man or woman in the street, everyone has a story to tell.
Over the years I’ve photographed for editorial, corporate and commercial clients, and I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many well known celebrities, politicians, artists, sports people, and everyone in between. These images have been published widely, exhibited and collected by institutions.
I photograph with minimum of fuss, after all a portrait is a conversation, between myself and the person I’m photographing, and then between the portrait and the viewer. It’s all about connection, portraying the person as I find them, in an authentic and relatable way.
